Abilities:

Half-Form: Durability, Super Strength, Endurance, Winged Flight, Tentacles, Hellfire Vision, Darkvision, Sense Magic, Psychic Protections, Minor Entropy Manipulation
Daisuke is the child of a greatest demon. When his father was briefly released upon the world, it took a massive concerted effort between magically powerful beings, friendly spiritual beings, superhumans and mortals skilled in ritual work to contain and banish him. Were he ever released again, he would be a threat on a massively global scale. All of Daisuke’s supernatural abilities comes from his half-blooded nature.
Daisuke’s powers normally come from his transformation into his half-demon form. Other than the ability, when triggered, to enter half-demon form, his human form possesses only supernatural durability, and the weaker side of the entropy field.
Both forms are incredibly durable, in both general case, and ability to heal from damage taken quickly, common among powerful demons. While he can be injured by high end superhuman abilities, Daisuke is capable of taking hits from giant monsters and high end mecha, or some of the higher end super beings, and at least partially resisting a fair number of other superhuman capabilities. There are a number of exceptions and ways to bypass this ability, but in general, he can at least survive many encounters with kaiju or mecha on the scale of the Red Ronin.
In human form, he has the weaker form of his entropy field – specifically, if he’s not paying attention, the odds of embarrassing incidents, wardrobe malfunctions and other minor disasters increases, and there is a slight increase in the general wear on women’s clothing. For the most part, he can and does suppress this consciously, but purely at scene runner or other player’s discretion, this can lead to problems, especially if he’s consistently stressed or distracted.
Like most demons and half-demons, his protections extend, to a degree, to most psychic and magical abilities that do not specifically target demons. He is not immune to either, but has the equivalent of a very strong will and mild shields to aid in protecting his mind and recovering from such assaults.
His transformation cannot be self-triggered, but requires awakening the incubus nature of his powers - thankfully, this is typically an entirely PG process, with sight of a girl’s panties being sufficient.
While in demon form, Daisuke may not be able to beat many of them entirely on his own, but can put up a good fight for many of Japan’s infamous kaiju, and other threats on that scale.
He is strong enough to bench press large nuclear submarines – capable of damaging most materials other than true adamantium or enchanted uru, or trade punches with some of the fairly high end bricks, giant monsters, super-mechs, etc.
He is capable of flight, using his wings to steer, though he does not require them for propulsion, that aspect being entirely magical. With his wings damaged, however, his flight is extremely unsteady, and he becomes prone to massive crashes or ending up off course. Otherwise, he can travel at a top speed of a little over MACH 10. This flight is highly obvious, as he ends up trailing fire behind him once he gets over speeds of about 200 mph.
In demon form, Daisuke grows four tentacles that possess his normal levels of strength. So long as he is paying attention, he can control these as readily as his own arms, and possesses the coordination to do so. While far from any kind of highly skilled combatant, this can occasionally give him an edge. The arms are normally about 5’ long, but can stretch to up to four times that.
In demon form, his eyes always glow with a red hellfire. He can emit bursts of magical hellfire from both eyes. This is similar in nature and intensity to the hellfire used by the Ghost Rider –coming from similar underworlds.
In this form, he can see normally in the dark.
In half demon form, his entropy field grows stronger. He can actively cause some of the disasters, and affect women’s clothing in fashions akin to telekinesis – but given his tendencies, without a direct order, mind control, or scene runner fiat, he will never, ever do this.

Weaknesses and flaws:
While very powerful in demonic form, Daisuke has a number of weaknesses, mostly tied to the origins of his powers.
All else aside, he’s mostly tried to be a normal teenager. While he’s had a few martial arts classes, for the most part, he’s not a great fighter, and those with more skill and speed can often evade him without a lot of trouble. There’s times he’s far more effective against the big threats, like giant monsters, potent mecha and other such threats than trying to deal with well trained ninja or powerful martial artists.
In general, in fact, Daisuke tends to just be better at dealing with the big things than the smaller ones. Trying to run a normal patrol or the like, he’s more likely to end up terrifying people, or ending up with half a crowd waving holy symbols at him to try and ward him off, or causing some embarrassing incident that holds things up while the criminals get away. He’s at his best dealing with mass destruction, big targets, etc. – anything that falls below a certain threshold, he’s often far more harm than good. (And storytellers are welcome and encouraged to throw appropriate bad luck his way and highlight this.)
Secondly, despite being only half-demon, Daisuke remains vulnerable to most powers and effects, especially certain magics, intended to target demons. He can be summoned and even contained via the proper rituals and circles. He can be harmed directly by both black and white magics meant to deal with the demonic. Likewise, magical protections, both of black and white magic, designed to protect people from demons, whether of the type to form barriers they cannot cross, or simply ward them off are perfectly effective against him.
Of especial note when acting in Asia, members of the Hand that worship the Beast are likely to be perfectly aware of at least minor protections and rituals, and various leaders may know ways to contain or harm demons.
In demon form, he cannot enter grounds which would be considered blessed by the Shinto religion, and is intensely uncomfortable on all other holy ground, cut to about a third of his normal power. When in human form, he can enter hold ground, but will always be noticeably uncomfortable there, and cannot assume demonic form while on sacred ground of any type, even with the proper stimulus..
In human form, he possesses only the powers of his durability, the minor non-directed entropy field, and the capacity to transform into the demonic form under the right circumstances. He cannot willingly take on demonic form on his own. He requires specific triggers tied into the incubus nature of his powers. Most common of these is seeing a woman’s panties (female nudity can also do it).
Despite his demonic nature, Daisuke is painfully shy around women for the most part, struggles with accepting his demonic nature, and even after transformation, will usually be useless for at least a short time blushing and apologizing, or trying to hide the glowing eyes, wings and tentacles. Despite it being far more potent, and requiring the triggers to take on this form, he tends to only do so by accident or when truly necessary, as he is intensely uncomfortable not only with the circumstances required to bring about the change, but also with his entire demonic nature itself.
Finally, he has no control over the transformation. The sight of panties, female nudity, or at scene-runner’s discretion or what seems amusing, proper circumstances to awaken the demonic nature, he will automatically gain the glowing eyes, bat wings, horns and four tentacles that mark his demonic side. Once it begins, he cannot stop it, nor immediately dismiss it. Without further problems or incident, it usually takes at least half an hour before his demonic features can be dismissed.
When in demonic form, he can exert conscious control over his abilities, but when he loses concentration or gets too distracted, purely at scene runner’s discretion, some of his abilities or the tentacles can take on a bit of a mind of their own – this will not result in anything extreme or beynd comm rating, of course, but may cause minor embarrassing incidents as desired by individual players or scene runners. The most common of these incidents are likely to involve unintentional minor tentacle gropes, or articles of clothing fraying or falling apart rapidly, with or without people’s notice, but other scenarios are possible if individual scene runners or players wish to make suggestions tied in with his nature.
Daisuke’s problems are compounded by almost cartoonish bad luck. The universe occasionally seems to conspire to make his life difficult, and cause various incidents that mortify him, and occasionally embarrass those around him as well. This luck is rarely directly physically harmful, but can often cause a lot of awkwardness and greater difficulties.
Finally, his father and many of his father’s allies in the underworld wish to see him corrupted to become a proper demon prince and heir, or to use him to free them from the underworld. As such, he has many potent enemies who will try and manipulate him, target his allies, and otherwise make menaces of themselves.
(As a total side note: this character was made originally around anime themes for a more tongue-in-cheek, but definitely PG to PG-13 game. The darker themes will remain purely hinted at, and some of the powers and abilities with obvious more than PG-13 elements will not be used on comm. The abilities noted as specifically at scene runner or other player’s discretion are precisely that. They will be used only on request, be it to mess with allies, for humor value, etc. The character is not going to change his personality and abuse his nature either – that would entirely defy the point of a character with intentionally crack-ish origins.)

Personality:
Daisuke’s primary motivation is to be a good person, despite his demonic heritage. He knows what his father wanted to do, and how dangerous he was. For much of his life, since his powers emerged, this expressed itself as trying as hard as he could to just get good grades and be a normal high school student. With university approaching, he has hoped that his marks could help overcome all of his long list of times sent to the principal and suspicions of being a mutant – but has been losing hope.
Daisuke is a painfully shy 18 year old with little ability to talk to the opposite gender without stuttering and averting his eyes. He hates his powers and the incidents that occur around him, and in all his teenage years, has not begun to get used to or appreciate any part of them – aside from those very brief times that they’ve allowed him to help save his home city in ways no one else could. He still sees them as inherently evil, cursed things and a last resort.
Despite seeing himself as tainted by his demonic heritage, he is sweet, and very much wants to be helpful. He just sometimes has no luck in offering that help, or some combination of his ‘gifts’ and simple bad luck get in the way. He does his best to be unfailingly polite, forthright and honest.
While he doesn’t ever believe it, the one point where he consistently shows a reasonable amount of confidence and capability is when confronted with the big threats. He may often fail to properly handle smaller things, or fumble with luck – but when everything is on the line against city-scale threats, he tends to find his spine, temporarily, and come through.

Backstory:
Daisuke was born out of tragedy and demonic ambition. His mother fell under the control of, and became the unwilling consort for the great demon lord Akuma no Neikan, one of the lords of Jigoku, specializing in manipulation, control and enslavement of humans… one of “those” demons. Thankfully, an alliance of Japanese super heroes, magic wielders and heroic mortals knowledgeable in ritual magic thwarted his plans for taking over the world, starting from Japan. As a demon lord, he could not be truly destroyed, but they were able to banish him from exerting any further influence upon the world for a thousand years and a day. Some of his agents or those wishing to gain his favor may still trouble the world, but the threat of his rule was destroyed, for now.
With one problem. His enslaved consort was impregnated during his invasion. The woman chose to carry the child to term, but got all the help she could from those she could that had helped rescue her and thwart the invasion. While traumatized by her experiences, she felt the most important thing she could do was to try and bring some good from them – and raised her child in the most upstanding and moral manner she could.
For much of his life, he appeared normal enough. He was kept away from most knowledge of the demonic, but his heritage was not hidden from him past the age when she felt he could understand it, at which point he was taught to distrust, and even hate the demonic, while making it clear she did not blame or dislike him for the horrors of his father.
The problems, or ‘incidents’ started with junior high school, when he began noticing girls. A painfully shy and awkward kid, this didn’t actually mean interacting with them, just noticing them. Without quite putting together where the problems lay, he began noticing that he was occasionally growing small horns, or his eyes would turn red when around the girls too much. The real problems came the first time he witnessed a prank played on one of the girls in a short schoolgirl skirt by her friends, flipping the skirt up… and for the first time, he fully took on his demonic aspects. He managed to hide it that time, but from then on, whenever he ended up seeing a girl’s underthings – more of a problem than one might think, either due to odd accidents that occasionally seemed to occur around him from time to time, pranks, or simply going to school with a lot of girls in short skirts – he manifested the horns, the wings, and the tentacles… but without the triggers, found he couldn’t gain the demonic attributes to practice with them. All of the practice he got was in trying to find ways to hide the manifestations and incidents. A few people noticed here and there – particularly one magical girl heroine he ended up working with for a time to repel a kaiju trying to eat Nagano. The incidents got him written up time and again, but usually were written off as accidents, or simple trouble – which his grades, good behavior, and geekish demeanor usually got him out of without /too/ much trouble, aside from building up an impressive run of times sent to the principal’s office. Many people became aware of the demon, with various reactions – but he managed, aside from some select people, to not have people expressly find out he and the demon were the same person, though it took a lot of awkward explanations, diving into closets or the nearest locker room, etc. – and countless embarrassing incidents as the universe conspired to make his life difficult.
His abilities paid off here and there, when he managed, in transformed form, to act as a hero of opportunity, battling aliens, giant monsters, and runaway mecha designed by a local supervillain at one point – but he mostly tried to stay low key.
Eventually, the government took notice, or were informed by one of his occasional heroic allies – and they sent agent Amiko to recruit him, or potentially recruit him, for the re-emergence of Big Hero Six, to act as team heavy in dire enough situations.
